Biography
I’m Aisha, an integrative psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and also a registered accredited member of the National Counselling Society. I’m here to give you a safe place to learn more about the things that are hurting your emotions. You don’t have to suffer silently and by yourself. I specialise in working with young people and adults with relational issues, such as abuse and neglect, trauma, loss, and grief. The anxiety, depression and the stress you feel are often the result of the difficulties and changes of events in your life. These can be resolved through talking therapy. As a relational and integrative psychotherapist, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as emotional-focused therapy, person-centred therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to help you overcome the challenges and gain an understanding of yourself and your relationships with others. As your therapist, I won’t try to change you; instead, I’ll listen and provide the steady assistance you need to work through the problems you have been afraid to address. Call me when you are ready and I will be right there with you offering you a new lens to see yourself and others.
